True VR would be nice, I see what he means by "struggle through" we've been let down so many times with completely unacceptable forms of VR due to low resolution, low FOV, or simply cumbersome and uncomfortable devices. What is the best form of VR? HMD's seem to be very intrusive but do have the potential to provide a great degree of immersion. Perhaps some form of CAVE (Surrounded by screens) is the ideal solution. One of the more interesting methods I've heard of is a variation of the HMD (head mounted display) that literally beams images into your retina. Bottom line is we've yet to discover True VR, but when we do, it will change everything. Note: Ultima X was unfortunately cancelled, as was Ultima Online 2, Garriotts current project is the upcoming MMO Tabula Rasa.
